"Yes. Inquisitor. I'm not sure where they fall in the chain of command, but it must be pret-" Margo was caught of guard as Calla suddenly hugged her tightly. She didn't even have a chance to really react before she was released. The hug brought with it the memories of the past, and reminded her how much she cared for Calla, and a smile briefly crossed her face. It was unclear if it went noticed or not. When she was released, she cleared her throat and adjusted her uniform. "Well, umm....that was unexpected. Believe it or not, I do miss you, Callie. But the job was the job. That's why I left. And don't worry. I'm not going to kill you. I could never. Just...let's try to stay professional while we're here, ok? We need to get to the hanger." Margo hesitated, as if she had more to say, and the truth was, she really did. But she couldn't bring herself to do it, especially not now. They had work to do, and the job comes first. It always does.

“Professional...sure,” she said, pretending to straighten a pin on her breast. ”While in front of the rest of the lot, anyway.” She saw the look on her face. She knew there was more. “Say it. They can wait. They can’t do anything without us anyway, so - what is it?” Callie placed herself between Maggie and the door, leaning her shoulder lightly against it, leaving the choice to Maggie even if it didn’t look like it. Callie wasn’t heavy - she knew Margo could move her if she really didn’t want to talk.

Third Brother's story begins here
Margo stopped and crossed her arms as her path was blocked. "Look, Callie," she said sternly, "even though they can't do anything without us doesn't mean we can keep them waiting. My best guess is that if this Inquisitor was dispatched, on direct orders of Palpatine himself, it would not be wise to keep them waiting. What I will say, though, before asking you politely to move, is that I miss you. I have never forgotten you. If the job wasn't what it was, then things could have been different. But it wasn't and here we are. Maybe it was fate that we ended up on the same ship. Regardless, it is what it is. Now, we really need to get moving. We can talk more later if we have the chance. Please." Margo would then go to gently move Calla aside if she hadn't already moved on her own.
As they walked to the hanger bay to meet this guest, Margo tried to keep her distance from Calla without making it look like she was keeping her distance. Her hands were folded behind her back and she walked with purpose. It took about 7 minutes to reach the end of the hall and take the elevator down to the landing dock.
Upon their arrival, they discovered that the LAAT carrying the Inquisitor was just clearing the airlock. Clone troopers were already lined up in the landing zone, awaiting the arrival. Margo stood at the front, right where the doors would open, just as she had for Calla's arrival not 2 hours earlier. The doors opened and Margo was quite surprised by what she saw.
Out stepped 12 clone troopers in Imperial Armor, flanking a jet black Shistavanen, dressed in a perfectly fitted black uniform that resembled Jedi robes donned with bits of armor, and sporting the Imperial crest on the shoulders and chest. On his hip, was a circular device with a handle going across the middle, and it looked remarkably like some form of lightsaber, but that was impossible. Wasn't it?
"Greetings, Inquisitor. I am Captain Mar-" Margo began, before she was harshly interrupted.
"Captain Margo Delora and Captain Calla Midanyl. I am fully aware. What you may not be aware of it that you are no longer in command of this vessel. As long as I am a part of this crew, I am in charge, by order of the Emperor. You will address me as Third Brother, and you work for me now. Now, direct me to the bridge so that I may track the last known trajectory of this Jedi ship." Without another word, Third Brother walked right past the pair of captains, and headed for the nearest elevator to bring them up to the bridge level.
"Excuse me, sir. I don't know who the hell you think you are, but orders or not this is my ship. You will address me and my compatriots with respect. If you want something, you will ask for it, not demand it. Do I make myself cle-errkkk" Margo began clutching at her throat and coughing, suddenly unable to breathe. As she struggled, her feet left the floor and she was suspended 2 feet in midair.
"That is quite enough, Captain. One word from me, and this ship will be sent to Hoth to manage the Tauntaun population. Do I make myself clear?" The Inquisitor spoke, his hand outstretched in Margo's direction in a gripping fashion. He opened his hand, and Margo dropped to the floor, where she collapsed on all fours, coughing and wheezing.
"What...are you? You can't be a Jedi." She managed to say.
"I am no Jedi. I am beyond their kind. And you are lucky I am so forgiving. Now. The bridge." He walked towards the elevator bay without another word. His clone troopers returned to the LAAT and assumed a ready, but relaxed arrangement, clearly waiting for further instructions.

Callie stood, mouth gently agape, and stared harshly at their new.... she wouldn’t call him a guest. She was already in full business mode, having felt she had been coldly shut down. The last thing she needed was some black-clad ass walking in to fully mess things farther than they already were. But she knew how to hide her emotions supremely well. This would be no trouble for her.
After helping Margo up, she straightened out her uniform, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “I’ll see you in your office. Be there in ten minutes, we will discuss this,” she whispered before turning.
“This way,” she said curtly, walking to the elevator and hitting the precise buttons to be brought to the command center. “For your tracking information - we confirm one Jedi ship, but another ship followed. I believe they are linked, but cannot confirm who was on board the other ship. It was a Starhopper... I take it you will be with us for as long as it takes to catch them. A room shall be prepared.” Her voice was monotonous, but not rude. “Of the two of us, I am Captain Calla. Should you need further information, you may call upon me as such. Until then, I shall continue my research and let you know if I find anything of use.” She stood aside when the elevator finally opened, gesturing with her arm to allow Third Brother inside.

Margo rubbed her neck and regained her feet and her composure, with Calla’s help. She shook her head sternly, clearly disagreeing with Calla’s offer to meet in the office later. “I’m not letting him in my bridge unsupervised.” With that, she stood and followed the Inquisitor into the elevator. She stood to the side to allow Calla room to join them, if she desired. She would not speak until the doors closed and the elevator began to move. “Fine, Inquisitor,” Margo said, distaste dripping from her lips as she spoke his title. “You may have access to our records and holotapes regarding this incident. As my counterpart mentioned, we have a report from survivors of two ships. A shipment of ours was raided by a pair of unidentified-“
“Jedi. I am aware of the situation, Captain. You fail to realize that I am just as in tune with the Force as any rebel Jedi, and can sense when they have been near. What you and your ebony-haired associate here fail to realize still, is that I am not ‘with you’ for as long as it takes to find these rebels. You are with me. I am taking command of this ship, its crew, and all its movements until my mission is complete or the situation changes. I will not repeat that again. All I need from you at this point in time is the access codes to download the ships last know trajectory. From there, I will decide our next move.” Third Brother interrupted again. It was clear that he did not like others giving him information he already had, and was not afraid to flaunt his power. Unless Calla spoke, the rest of the ride would go by in silence.
Upon reaching the bridge level, Third Brother would walk over to a computer terminal and relieve the crewman there of his post with a snarl, then gesturing one of the Captains to enter her credentials and pull up the footage and information that he needed.
“Well, then. Let us hope that you finish your mission quickly. I don’t much enjoy having you aboard my ship like you own it,” Margo hissed.
“Oh, my dear Captain,” he chuckled, “I do own it.”

Calla merely stared, unimpressed. “Come, CAPTAIN Margo. Let the Jedi reject play with his new toy.” Calla walked seamlessly back to the door. “Anyone who has to demand respect out of fear cannot command respect from me. Or anyone at all. Fear does not equate respect. I can be cordial. Just keep your forked tongue behind your teeth, Inquisitor , and we won’t have any further problems here.”
She couldn’t care less if he reacted or not - nor to what extent he did so. Until he gave her a legitimate reason, she would give him nothing of what he wanted - he could clearly get it himself. Plus, she had never heard of him before. No accolades? No recognition? No obvious importance. Calla was fed up.

Third Brother snarled as Calla spoke so defiantly about him. “There will be consequences for your tone, Captain. I am an extension of the Emperor and I will act as such. I am more than capable of being civilized if you would cooperate. Just give me the data tape and we can be on own way.”
Margo walked over to the monitor that he was standing at and logged in to the system. She retrieved the data he required and displayed it on the central holo-station. She then looked over at Calla and spoke. You should really mind your own tongue, Captain Midanyl. This Inquisitor clearly outranks us, and we should serve accordingly, like good officers do. Please, don’t put up such a pointless fight. You’re going to get yourself hurt, and none of us want that.” She said, looking and sounding stern and collected, but Calla would be able to see the pain in her eyes.
As the Inquisitor studied the footage, he hand his hands clasped behind his back. When it was finished, he rubbed his chin. “Thank you, Captain Delora. I must think on this in my quarters. That will be all for now. Dismissed.” Without another word, he walked out of the bridge and down a hall to the sleeping quarters. Margo took this opportunity to finally sit down and let her body unclench.
“I...really...don’t like him,” she breathed heavily.

“Hypocrite,” she sneered. She and her men had been more than polite, cooperative, and accommodating up until that point. She had no time for pointless threats made by some Lord’s lap dog. They were all on the same side. Power struggles get supposed comrades nowhere fast.
She glared as he walked past, but saluted anyway. She might dislike him and would rather see him go through retraining, but she tried her best to stick to protocol and tradition - it didn’t always work out that way. Calla flipped her hair over her shoulder, curling a strand around her finger as she looked out the window.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. You seem to get along just fine. He has what he needs. He can leave now,” she murmured flatly.

Margo looked up at her companion and cleared her throat. They were still surrounded by their underlings, so she had to maintain her composure as best she could. “We do not get along. You, of all people, should know when I’m putting up a front. I must obey my superiors, but that doesn’t mean I have to like them. He does have what he needs, but you heard him. He’s taken control of this ship from us. For now, the Loyalist belongs to him. I have a feeling we’ll be leaving Scarif orbit soon. He’ll no doubt take us to wherever he tracks the rogue Jedi to. Wherever that is.”
Margo got up and began to walk back to her cabin. She wanted to rest. She looked at Calla as if to say she could follow if she wanted.

“Oh. Yes. You’re a great actress. I can’t believe I had forgotten,” she almost spat. She felt the anger build within her... and then let it fade. It wasn’t worth it. It got nowhere. She sighed and looked at her. “I’ll be in my office if you need me. I’ll see if I can’t help pinpoint their location faster. The faster we catch them, the faster that fleabag can get off this ship.”
Regardless - she had to head in the same direction. She followed Margo to the lift.

Margo half smiled as Calla entered the lift with her, but didn’t speak. When they arrived on the officer’s sleeping quarters level, she got out and walked to her chambers. She set up a comm unit by her bed, and rigged a holoprojector that was tied into the Loyalist’s nav system. This way, if this so-called Third Brother tried to maneuver the ship without informing her, she’d know right away. She stepped into a side room to change into her bed wear, then sat down and accessed the computer at her desk, with the intention of researching the Inquisitor and finding out what he was all about, and why the Emperor would send one. During all of this, she would leave her chamber doors open in case Calla wanted to follow her in. If Calla did not enter, Margo would simply go to sleep after studying.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, Third Brother was in an unused office on the officer’s deck. He had the data file and hologram recording of the Jedi incident, obtained from the surviving TIE fighters. His lightsaber was lying on the desk next to him, and he sat studying the recording. As he watched both ships jump to hyperspace, he shut down the computer and turned to face the center of the room. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply. On the desk, his weapon began to levitate and spin. It drifted across the room and hovered in front of him. In moments, both blades activated, and the disc began to spin, with the hilt grip remaining stationary. Third Brother opened his eyes and watched the spinning red disc with intensity. A few moments later, he lunched his hand out, grabbed the handle, shut down the blades, and clipped it to his back. He activated an intercom that connected him to Captain Delora’s chambers and barked into it. “Captain, I have a lead on the rogue Jedi. We depart in the morning. For Tatooine.” With that, he shut everything down and walked off to his own designated chambers to rest for the mission ahead.
Calla kicked the door as she followed Margo in. She made herself at home at the desk - not unlike she used to do. And she listened rather intently to the Fleebag’s words. “Tatooine? ...How did he get Tatooine? It wasn’t even in the general direction... Whatever. Not like we have a choice.” She kicked her feet up on the desk, pouting. Maybe, at this point, she was just cranky from lack of sleep. Her first day on this ship was awful.
Margo sat back in her chair. "You know I have no idea, Calla. I've never understood these Jedi, or Sith, or whatever he is, and you know that. But if this goes well, we'll be able to dump him by weeks end and go back to our lives as scheduled. Tatooine isn't that far from here, just a quick jump down the Triellus Trade Route. Should only take a few hours to get there. And then we can be done with him. I'm tired of this Jedi nonsense. I just want to go back to my command as it was promised to me, and then be back on track to be the first female Admiral in the Navy, both Republic and Imperial." Margo moved away from the desk and lay back on the bed, propped against the wall. She closed her eyes and let out a heavy sigh.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The following morning, Third Brother beat both Margo and Calla to the bridge and began instructing the crew on where to take the Loyalist. Margo stormed into the bridge and demanded that all units stand down. "As I told you before, Inquisitor, this is my ship, and it goes nowhere without my say so. If you wish to take us to a place, you must go through me. I am not afraid to go over your head if this abuse of power continues."
Third Brother merely shook his hand in a dismissive manner and glared back at the navigations officer. The officer nervously looked over at Captain Delora, who nodded her approval. Wiping sweat from his brow, the lieutenant tapped his control terminal, moving the ship out of orbit over Scarif and into a position to make the jump to Tatooine. With a final order from Captain Delora, the hyperdrive was engaged, and in a flash of light, her cushy gig of guarding the gate was gone. Her jaw and fists both clenched as they sped away.

Calla didn’t say anything. She received a report from one of her men, along with her usual morning cup of tea and completely ignored the existance of everyone around... except for when she stole glances at the back of Margo’s head. After she had fallen asleep, Calla had braided her hair - something she used to do often. The braid was still in and looked pristine. She smiled to herself as she flipped a page in her report.
