These beaches were the primary landing zones for freight and fighter ships that had business with the Citadel Tower, which could be reached quickly by a shuttle tram, or on foot if absolutely required, and you didn't mind getting wet.

This monolithic tower is heavily guarded by specially trained Sandtroopers and elite stormtroopers, and is equipped with a giant transmission dish, used to transmit critical data to orbiting ships.

This planet is heavily guarded by the Empire, including a planet-wide shield. The reason for this was due to the construction and near completion of a highly secret operating tower, housing plans and data of hundreds if not thousands of Imperial operations.
