As the thieves fled with their stolen sillum, the Imperials were right on their tale, taking shots whenever they could, and they didn’t seem to care much if civilians got in the way, as demonstrated when a female Twi’lek on her blurgg was thrown back as a blaster shot hit at her mount’s feet.
“You know, it’s almost like they don’t care about the locals!” Bishto yelled over the commotion to his allies. There was a hint of amusement in his voice. It was at this time that they were arriving at the spaceport and he pulled his speeder along side an ancient looking D5-Mantis Patrol Craft. He jumped off and ran to the loading ramp, slapping a button on the outside, which dropped the ramp. He ran inside before the ramp was fully down and headed for the cockpit. A few moments later, the engines could be heard powering up.
“Yeah! Why you do think we’re stealing from them!?” Rat Hook replied, launching himself into the air with his back mounted thrusters as a laser shot blasted his speeder apart, causing it to crash into a flaming heap against another parked ship. The platform containing the sillum and Soniee Ordo got rocked hard, but managed to not fall over or crash, instead drifting to a halt just before the lowered loading ramp. He started unloading the sillum into the ship.
Sena pulled up her speeder next to them and pointed her blaster at Soniee. “Remind me why we haven’t shot her yet? After what she did to us?”
“The engines won’t fire!!!” Came a shout from inside. A puzzled Sena looked away into the hold of the ship.
“What do you mean they won’t -“ more shots interrupted her as the stormtroopers arrived and landed a few meters away, unloading the troops who began rushing towards them. Sena took up a position behind a crate and returned fire. “How did the Empire know which ship was ours!?”

Soniee had to admit, the ride she was on now was not the best one she had ever been on. Then again, this wasn't the worst either, it lacked a horde of battle droids . Unfortunately the droids had been replaced by stormtroopers who showed the same disregard for civilians and property as the droids used to.
Things almost took a turn for the worse, as a blaster bolt struck a speeder and sent it crash into a parked ship. Luckily, the platform didn't suff the same fate. Instead it drifted to a stop in front of the ship, and the cold stare of Sena. Now Soniee was trapped in a bad spot. Imperials were closing in on our side, and she was curr being held by people who wan her dead or would turn her in for a bounty.
Then she heard it, the sound of the engines of the ancient D-5 Mantis were refusing to start. Now her kidnappers were stuck in a hard place just like her. Even in such a dire position, Soniee couldn't help but feel a small smile tug at her lips.
As much as she wanted to sit around and see what happened to these Sillum thieves, she needed to get out of here. There relatively few option for her. She could use the Imperials as a distraction to make a break one she could. One thing she did need was a weapon, and not the lightsaber she still had hidden on her. She needed a blaster pistol if she was to keep her cover. From her small pie of cover, she scanned the area for an escape route and a blaster.

Beskad (Geth Kai-No):
I wait and watch, with C-1 forewarding me Updates from the Imperial chatter. I watch the road ahead with anticipation, waiting for them to come into range. I see a speeder come round the bend, and on it I see my target with some extra's. I'm about to pull the trigger when I notice one of the extra's appears to be bound and restrained. "Crap. He's got a captive." I mutter to myself. I adjust my aim, and fire mode, to disable the vehicle, and fire. I watch as the vehicle comes to a halt and wait for everyone to be out of the speeders, and then I adjust behind everyone so I can fire as needed. I drop a full power potshot in the droids midsection, where his power core should be, before flipping a switch back to stun and aiming for the nearest person to him with a blaster. After my second shot I duck behind my cover again and a couple moments later move around the other side and resume my pattern until I am fired upon or all my targets are down.

As Rat Hook was making his way to get the sillum up the ramp, his chest suddenly sparked and exploded as a blaster shot hit him dead center. He yelled and fell backwards, his arms flailing as he tried to right himself, but his systems were badly damaged and he was unable to control his actions.
“What the hell? That wasn’t a stormtrooper!” Sena called, taking her eyes off of the ship to her fallen companion, still sparking from the impact spot. She peaked her head over to look at Soniee, thinking for a moment that she had somehow called for reinforcements, but was taken down by a stun shot to her back before she could make a move.
Bishto was still inside the ship, but was headed out and saw his friends fall. Shocked, he pulled out his rifle and started unloading at anything that moved, unaware that it was not the stormtroopers that took down his allies. A few troopers went down, but there were still 3 remaining, and they were converging on both the ship and on Soniee herself, two heading to the loading ramp, and one going for the platform Soniee was on.

Soniee turned her gaze just in time to see a blaster bolt hit Rat Hook in the chest. The shot did come from the direction of the stormtroopers, so they either called for help or someone else had now entered the chaos. She didn't exactly have the luxury of trying to find the new person who had just taken out two of her captors. Instead, she focused her attention on the trooper heading towards her.
Her options were limited to what she had and how trigger happy the stormtrooper felt. Although she didn't need to get on the Empire's bad side or draw any attention to herself. She was tempted to try and push the crates over on the trooper, but that would deprive her of some cover. Maybe she didn't need to fight, and all she needed to do was convince the trooper to believe the same.
Soniee closed her eyes and slowed her breathing. As her mind sank into the currents of the force, she could feel the emotions of everyone around her. Anger, fear, excitement, all these things whirled about in the force like a raging river. Soniee quickly picked through these feelings till she found the one she was looking for.
A sense of what felt like anxiousness lined with fear and a sense of duty rolled off the trooper. He was ready for what needed to be done, but not what to expect. Soniee focused on this and tried to release a sense of calm towards the trooper, attempting to push away the sharp edge of fear. At the same time, she tried to reinforce the idea in his mind that she wasn't a threat to him, just nothing more than a civilian caught in the crossfire.

Beskad:
I smile inside my helmet as each target goes down. Then I see the troopers going down and the remainder splitting up toward my target and the captive. Shit. Troopers tend to blast first ask questions later. Hurriedly I switch my coms to the frequency the troopers usually use, hoping that they're using the same standard here as they do in the inner rim. "Troopers, hold your fire. There is a female captive being held hostage, appears to be a freighter pilot or crew member. I am moving in to retrieve and rescue. Repeat, hold your fire." As I'm doing that, I switch to my blaster pistols and leap out of my hiding spot. As I launch out, I turn and fire toward Bishto, hoping that since I'm unexpected I can catch him with a shot or two, and even if he hits me My Beskargam should take any hits he can deal out. As soon as I hit ground I am rolling and coming up still firing at Bishto while running towards the hostage. Once I get to her I am grabbing her and pulling her along with me, all while laying down covering fire. "Sorry for being a bit rough, but let's get you out of here!" as I pull her out of the firing area and towards the troopers. Back on the trooper channel I say "Troopers, I was sent by Senior Lieutenant Ban in orbit of Coruscant to apprehend this target. I am requisitioning your aid in protecting this girl while I go back after the target. Stay here, and protect her." Assuming they do not object, I will turn and resume firing toward the Bishto and making my way slowly towards him, moving from cover to cover if he is not already down, at which point I halt my firing.

The trooper approaching Soniee slowed his pace, and lowered his weapon. His mind became a bit fuzzy, but he was sure that the woman on the platform needed help. He slowly reached out an arm to her when a voice burst into his helmet, ordering him to hold his fire. The trooper snapped out of his haze when he realized the voice in his ear was not his commander, and instead went to quickly grab the woman’s arm and yank her off the platform, holding her at gun point. Before he realized what was going on, a man in Mandalorian armor leapt off the shuttle and opened fire on the remaining hostile inside the ship, before grabbing the girl out of his arms and continuing to run towards the other troopers. He all but threw her at the storm troopers, and attempted to advance on the shuttle door alone.
The commanding stormtrooper cut off his advance, however, blocking his path and leveling his weapon at him. “I don’t give a womp rat’s ass who sent you or why. You don’t get to just barge into an active fire fight and start ordering my men around. The Gotal inside that ship is a known rebel and a traitor, and he will face Imperial justice. Now stand down or you will be detained.”
From inside the ship, all firing had stopped, and a groaning sound could be heard. Perhaps Bishto had been hit after all? The commander gestured to his men, and three stormtroopers slowly began to walk up the ramp into the ship. Before they made it halfway up, however, a crate was shoved hard at them and collided with the lead trooper....and exploded on contact. The men on the ramp never stood a chance, and a shard of the destroyed crate flew across the platform, narrowly missing the Mandalorian and piercing through the commanders armor into his chest, causing him to collapse to the ground motionless. A few moments later, the engines of the D-5 roared to life and the ship began to lift off the ground. As the ramp closed, Dorn Bishto could be seen limping to the opening and waving smugly at the Mandalorian and his Jedi nemesis. He grinned as the doors closed fully, and the ship reared up and headed into the upper atmosphere. In moments, it would be in orbit, no doubt plotting an escape to hyperspace.

Everything was going fine, well...as fine as they could get in the current situation. She could feel the troopers emotions change in the force, becoming less hostile and more willing to help. Soniee reached for the troopers hand when he offered it to her. Things were going well so far and if they kept going like this, she'd be out of here in no time.
Unfortunately, even the best laid plans could fall apart in a hurry. Before she could grab his hand, something broke the force connection. Something that startled the trooper and pushed all the calmness away. The same hand that was reaching to help a moment before was now roughly grabbing her and dragging her off the platform at blaster point. Soniee's plan was starting to fall apart quickly, but at least the trooper didn't open fire...yet.
The source of the disruption appeared in the form of another Mandalorian. The man began to open fire on the hostiles in the ship. To add to the confusion, said Mandalorian grabbed Soniee straight out of the troopers arms and dragged her...straight to another group of troopers. She wasn't entirely sure what was going on, and by the looks of it neither did the Stormtroopers. This day was getting worse by the moment as she was now surrounded by more angry people pointing blasters at her.
The commander seemed less then thrilled with the new arrival as he began to yell at the Mandalorian. Soniee's attention, however, turned to the now silent ship. Bishto was alive, she could feel it, he was planning something. That something showed itself pretty quick as the remaining troopers climbed the ramp. Soniee braced herself as a crate slid down the ramp and detonated, killing the remaining troopers. The sound of engines firing up could be heard over her ringing ears. She watched as the D-5 lifted off the hangar and roared towards open orbit.
Soniee stood silently for a moment, watching the ship pull away from the planet. She reached down and picked up an empty trooper's helmet, the commanders infact, that was tossed over by her from the blast. Turning to Beskad and shook the helmet at him. "What th hell?!"

(Mod override due to non-participation)
Beskad cursed as he watched the ship take flight, trailing smoke from where he ripped out components as it did so. Looks like his handiwork hadn't been as effective as he originally thought. Dusting himself off from the explosion, he switched his comm back to his private channel. "C-1! There's a ship leaving from the main platform! Track it! I'm heading back to -- oof!" Before he could finish his thought, Beskad found himself tackled by a new stormtrooper, while a second yanked his arms behind his back and slapped him in binders. The troopers yanked him to his feet, then turned to face their C-PH patrol speeders, as more reinforcements disembarked from an Imperial Troop Transport. "Damn." Beskad thought to himself. The troopers must have radioed for additional help before he tuned in to their frequency. The arresting troopers disarmed him, taking his blaster and gauntlet, as well as removing his jetpack. While his personal effects were handed to other troopers, placed in a crate, and stored inside the ITT, Beskad himself was locked into one of the prisoner compartments on the side of the vehicle. The ITT drove away with Beskad in tow, headed for the nearest Imperial processing center. A new LAAT/le touched down, clearly waiting to retrieve the otherwise stranded lieutenant after he finished his business.
As this occurred, a middle aged officer wearing the crisp uniform of a lieutenant approached Soniee. A new LAAT/le touched down, clearly waiting to retrieve the otherwise stranded lieutenant after he finished his business. "Are you alright, miss? Did those terrible rebels injure you?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dorn Bishto slumped over at the controls of his crippled ship. He had managed to reroute enough power to get the ship off the ground and maybe into low orbit, but there was no guarantee that the hyperdrive wouldn't rip the ship apart if he tried. He'd have to land somewhere less conspicuous and get himself a new ride. While he managed to get away with the sillum shipment, he'd lost his entire crew and taken a blaster shot to his left shin and right shoulder which made his movement severely restricted and painful. The wounds were non-lethal but would require proper medical care to heal properly. Bishto activated the ships comms and attempted to call for assistance, but received no reply. That damn bounty hunter must have damaged the long range transmitter while he was at it. Trapped in the Ryloth system, Bishto aimed the ship west and headed towards the nightside of the planet, hoping to find somewhere safe to land.
What happened next happened quickly. Reinforcements showed up and arrested Beskad before he had a chance to explain himself. Soniee gripped the helmet in her hands a little tighter as the event unfolded. Luckily they didn't seem concerned with her, at least for now.
She wasn't ignored forever as a lieutenant stepped up to her and asked if she was alright. Soniee almost hesitated for a moment, the frustration seeping from her was being replaced by caution. "I..um..I'm fine. Just a few cuts and bruises." Her gaze went quickly to the direction the ship left then back to the lieutenant. "It's just that...those rebels made off with the load of sillum I delivered to the hospital here."
The officer listened to Soniee’s explanation and the barked some orders into his comlink. “Don’t worry, miss. Our network has tracked a damaged ship landing somewhere on the opposite side of the planet, no doubt for repairs. We’ll find it and take that rebel into custody. Don’t you worry. In the meantime, I can arrange a trooper to bring you back into town if you need.” The officer responded. It was clear he wasn’t too concerned with the actual stolen product.
So Bishto was still on the planet. That was both good and bad. Good as in he didn't make it to far with the cargo. Bad as in he was still within Imperial reach. The Lieutenant seemed more interested in retrieving Bishto himself than the actual cargo. No surprise there since they believed he was a rebel. Soniee knew otherwise, though. What worried her was the information Bishto knew about her and how willing he would be to hand that information over if he believed it would gain him favors. A Jedi on the run was worth their weight in credits right now.
Soniee put on a fake smile of relief when the Lieutenant relayed this information to her. Such a mask of fake smiles and emotions was coming to her easier these days. She used to be a person of action, now she used these masks to avoid such things. Dark times indeed. Soniee gave a small shake of her head at the Lieutenant's offer. "No, thanks. My ship isn't that far away."
