The sensor on their face made them useful for detecting damage or other issues with a machine. The primary voice box of beeps and whistles could be upgraded to an articulated vocal processor, allowing easier communication, and AI boosts were also available on military or government units. Observation Droid | Similar to the cam droids, this model was a free floating camera used to keep an eye on the general population, or use as spies. What set this one apart was that it came equipped with two-way communications and an AI system that allowed it to speak for itself and understand commands to establish a comlink. | Public | 1,100

R4 Astromech Droid | R4's became increasingly popular in the later years of the Clone Wars, after proving themselves to be more effective than most other astromech droids in service at the time. Able to solve complex problems and remote pilot up to 3 starfighters in addition to whatever ship it was plugged into at the time, it was a huge benefit to have a few of these in battle. | Public | 10,355
R5 Astromech Droid | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The final product of the R-series astromech droids, R5's were far and away the most powerful on the line.
