This flat area of desert is the home of the passive skalders. The creatures find all the nutrients they need from the dirt and soil of this area, and are often found feeding at the edges of the many acid geysers in the area. If you find yourself here and see skalders beginning to run away, you best run with them, or else be melted alive by the acid that's about to rain down around you.
