Lu’kai Has always been the quiet one. But when he speaks, he commands attention. His voice is deep and gravelly, giving off the idea that he’s a grump...which he is. He is a dog, loyal to his masters. Teamed up with 13th Sister, they are an unstoppable force. He is tired, experienced, and perpetually bored.
Background:
*****Lu’kai, like most Jedi, was brought to the Temple as a toddler. As his training progressed, he passed his Initiate and Padawan trials easily, eventually being partnered with a Nautolan Jedi Master. After a very uneventful career that left Lu’kai extremely bored with the Order, he eventually achieved Knighthood, and then rose to Master two years later, having defeated a notoriously deadly crimelord and saving a diplomatic fleet in the process. However, despite his quick rise through the ranks, he had a tendency to deal with matters in a harsh and disproportionate manner, earning him several disciplinary hearings and even a sort of house arrest, in which he was forbidden from leaving the Temple grounds for a period of 6 standard months.
This led to him not being fully trusted, and when Order 66 came down, he was nowhere near a clone unit or active battle. He did, however, receive the beacon telling all surviving Jedi to return to the Temple immediately. Unaware of the trap, he did so, and was confronted almost immediately by the newly christened Darth Vader, though he still knew him only as Anakin Skywalker. Vader attacked on site, but Lu’Kai was skilled enough to hold him off. As they clashed, Lu’Kai chuckled as he asked why Anakin hadn’t done this sooner, and he would have helped if he had known the plan. Upon hearing this, Vader lowered his weapon and turned his back, but then Force choked Lu’Kai into unconsciousness. He ordered a group of nearby clones to deliver him to the Chancellor unharmed. Once there, he was tortured by Sidious and he was forced to renounce all things Jedi, including his own name.
Lu’kai came to be 11th Brother as a result of this. He had never particularly liked them anyway, merely going through the motions. They had a harsh smell to him and he would lash out at the strictures of the practice. He wanted to deal justice...but as he saw fit. He proved a valuable asset to the Inquisitorius, aiding in the training of others including 13th Sister. He became fond of her, to his annoyance and both of their perils. Called before Vader, the two of them were forced to watch the other be maimed by Vader. 13th Sister was left with a scar above her heart. 11th Brother was left without his right arm. He is now training to be able to use it without issue. He does not blame Elgarayne, but blames himself.
